Roads
 

Roads and grounds in general are a huge part of Paw Patrol location modeling. They are very simple, but require clean topology for surfacing to create nice road masks.

The process is similar for rivers.

I retopologize roads in Zbrush using Zremesher and manually fix topology mistakes in Maya afterwards.

Modeling works closely with previz on determining the correct size, shape and usage of grounds.
